From 2003- 2009, in order to have more time with my young son, I took on a job at the COAC, (Catalan Institute of Architects) as head of their itinerary service. I organized tours, conferences and site visits for mainly clients from the construction world as well as architectural trips for Catalan architects. In 2009 the economical crisis hit Spain hard, the department had to close down and I had to recycle. I eventually became an official tourist guide in Catalonia and now offer my skills as a guide and a tour designer for several travel agencies and private clients. I now also collaborate with Enotourism in Priorat, where we currently live.
The following are a few examples of the tours I’ve designed. Needless to say, I also offer the standard tours in Barcelona, for example, La Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà, Hospital de Sant Pau, Park Güell, etc., always adapted to the particular interests of the clients.
The prices vary according to the size of the group and the form of transport. Small groups between 2-4 persons would be driven around in my own car, if needed.
