In October 1989, after my architectural studies in London, I moved to Berlin, 10 days before the wall came down! Those were exciting times for architects. I lived there for 8 years and worked in three different practices, doing mostly housing and competitions. In my free time, I had fun designing a few furniture pieces and toys. Germany’s costly reunification eventually led the booming building industry to a halt. So in 1997, I decided to move to Barcelona for a fresh new start and soon became mother.
