A FLAT CONVERSION IN FALSET, Priorat 2017
In 2017, we moved from our house up in the hills to a top flat in Falset, with splendid views on three sides. With a very low budget the challenge was to reuse as much as possible from our former home and to transform the flat into a more diaphanous space.
This was crucial for cross ventilating on hot summer days and warming the living/eating/ work area during the winter months using the lower sun rays.
Our old hazelnut shell burner came along with us to remove the evening chill, two old Ikea sofas and some nice curtains were transformed into a new sofa and our former dining table became the coffee table.
